PRE – ACTIVITY

Skills: Listening, writing
Organization: Whole class, individual
Procedure:
(1) Teach the numbers as usual.
(2) Do a dictation of at least five five-digit numbers, one digit at a time (2-3-5-4-6)
(3) Correct as usual


ACTIVITY
Skills:Writing, speaking, listening
Organization: Individual, Groups of Three, Mixer
Situation: Introduce yourself as a number
Procedure:
(1) Have each student choose a five-digit number and write it in their notebooks. Then they memorize it.
(2) Put students in groups of three and they introduce themselves using their new "names"(numbers).
(3) After they have learned each others names they get up and introduce each other to the members of the other groups.


POST – ACTIVITY

Skills: Writing
Organization: Individual
Procedure:
Have each student write the "names"(numbers) of his group mates and draw a picture of them.

Variation:
They could also ask group mates where they are from and add this to the composition.
